TULSA, Okla. – The Oral Roberts men's soccer team fell in overtime, 2-1, to Omaha Saturday evening at the Case Soccer Complex.
The Golden Eagles took an early 1-0 lead in the sixth minute. Lucca Rodrigues recorded his first goal of the season when he received the ball inside the box from Juan Arias. Arias' pass to the middle was sent in from a Jose Castro corner kick. Arias and Castro both earned assists.
Omaha equalized the game, 1-1, in the 85th minute. The Mavericks had the ball inside the goal area and had on the fourth attempt sent in by the team, Junior Noutoua scored to the far post to tie the game. Noutoua's goal was assisted by Nil Ayats.
The Mavericks scored the goal goal in the 93rd minute by Hugo Kametani with the assist by Noutoua.
