STILLWATER, Okla. – The Oral Roberts women's basketball team fell on the road to Oklahoma State, 103-66, Monday evening inside Gallagher-Iba Arena.
Off the bench, Ariel Walker netted a career-high 17 points on 6-of-8 shooting in 10 minutes of action. Hannah Cooper added 14 points and a team-high four assists.Â
After a Ruthie Udoumoh layup gave the Golden Eagles their only lead of the game, 2-0, at the 8:57 mark, the Cowgirls answered with an 8-0 run. A Hannah Cooper three-pointer broke the stretch, 8-5, with 7:01 remaining in the quarter. A Udoumoh layup drew the Golden Eagles to within four, 13-9, with 5:44 showing on the clock but OSU responded with a 7-0 stretch to take a 20-9 advantage. Following a Delaney Nix triple that brought ORU back to within six, 22-16, the Cowgirls closed the final 2:33 of the quarter with an 11-0 stretch to take a 33-16 lead into the second.

The first 10 points of the second period went the way of the Cowgirls as their lead bloomed to 27, 43-16, at the 7:21 mark. With 6:53 remaining in the half, Tirzah Moore netted the first points of the period for the Golden Eagles with a pair of free throws. A made jumper by Ariel Walker with 4:09 left in the second marked the final basket of the half for ORU as OSU scored the final 16 points to carry a 63-21 advantage into the break.

The Cowgirls opened up their largest lead of the game, 76-23, at the 8:01 mark of the third quarter behind a 13-0 run out of the break. Udoumoh stopped the bleeding with a triple from the right wing and sparked an 11-3 stretch that cut the deficit to 79-34 with 5:04 left in the period. The Cowgirls slowed the stretch with a Makyra Tramble triple but the Golden Eagles kept coming as they closed the quarter on an 8-2 run to cut the deficit to 84-42.
In the fourth, Oklahoma State opened with a 7-0 surge to push their lead to 49, 91-42, with 7:51 showing on the clock. ORU responded with a 16-2 run over the next two minutes to trim the deficit to 93-58. During the stretch, Walker netted 13 of the 16 Golden Eagle points. ORUÂ pushed their run to 20-4 following a pair of makes at the foul line from Walker and Sara Rodrigues that cut the OSU lead to 34, 96-62, with 3:23 left in the game. The Cowgirls scored seven of the final 11 points as they went on to win 103-66.
THE LEADERS
Oral Roberts: Walker's 17 points were a career-high for the senior as the Ozark, Arkansas, native made her season debut. On the glass, Tirzah Moore and Rodrigues tied for the team lead with six.
Oklahoma State: Four Cowgirls reached double-figures led by Claire Chastain with 24 points on 8-of-12 shooting.
