ARLINGTON, Texas - The Oral Roberts men's tennis team won Wednesday afternoon, 6-1, against Prairie View A&M in Arlington, Texas.
 
ORU claimed the doubles points winning at the No. 1 and No. 2 positions. Volodymyr Zakharov and Aaron Brewer swept the No. 1 match, 6-0. Ignacio Vinas and Ezequiel Monferrer also won, 6-2, at No. 2, to give the Golden Eagles an early 1-0 advantage in the dual.
 
Monferrer earned his second victory of the day winning in singles action at the No. 2 spot, 6-2, 6-0. Vinas won at No. 3, 6-2, 6-4, followed by Jonathan Evans being victorious at No. 4, 6-2, 6-0 to seal the dual. Kevin Leuenberger played at No. 5 and won, 6-2, 6-1, and Aaron Brewer earned a win at No. 6, 6-1, 6-2.
 
Up Next: ORU will take on Drake in Summit League play Friday, March 25 at 5 p.m. in Des Moines, Iowa.
