TULSA, Okla. - The Oral Roberts men's tennis team fell in its league opener against North Dakota, 4-3, at the Bernis Duke Tennis Center.
 
Despite not earning the doubles point, Ignacio Vinas and Ezequiel Monferrer won the No. 1 doubles match, 6-3.
 
ORU claimed three wins in singles play. Volodymyr Zakharov kept his undefeated streak and moved to 1-0 in Summit League play at the No. 1 spot with a 6-4, 7-5 victory. Monferrer picked up his second win of the day with a three-set win, 6-7, 6-4, 6-3, No. 2. Aaron Brewer earned a 6-4, 6-3, victory at the No. 6 singles spot.
 
Up Next: ORU will play at the University of Tulsa Sunday, March 6 at 6 p.m. in the Case Tennis Center.
