NORMAN, Okla. – The Oral Roberts baseball team dropped their midweek contest at Oklahoma, 8-2, Tuesday evening at L. Dale Mitchell Park in Norman, Oklahoma.

The Sooners struck first with two runs in the opening frame and made it 3-0 in the second on a Peyton Graham RBI single.

After Oklahoma tacked on two more runs to their lead in the fifth,
Jake McMurray put the Golden Eagles on the board in the seventh with an RBI groundout. The run cut the deficit to 5-1.

Oklahoma answered with three runs in the bottom half of the inning to stretch their lead to 8-1.

Mac McCroskey in the ninth made the final total 8-2 in favor of the Sooners.
