TULSA, Okla. - The Oral Roberts men's tennis team fell 4-3 Saturday afternoon to Illinois State at the Bernis Duke Tennis Center.
 
ORU started Saturday's dual strong picking up the doubles point with wins at the No. 1 and No. 3 spots. Ignacio Vinas and Ezequiel Monferrer shutout their opponents, 6-0, at No. 1. Eli Brewer and Volodymyr Zakharov picked up at a 7-6 win at the No. 3 position.
 
Vinas earned his second win of the day with a 6-3, 6-1, win at the No. 2 singles spot. Aaron Brewer earned the third point for the Golden Eagles with a 7-6, 6-2, victory at the No. 6 position.
 
Up Next: ORU will host Omaha Friday, April 15 for Senior Day against the Omaha Mavericks.
