TULSA, Okla. – AJ Archambo and Caleb Denny both homered and Isaac Coffey tossed his fifth career complete-game shutout as the Oral Roberts baseball team claimed the series against Summit League foe St. Thomas with a 14-0 run-rule victory in seven innings Sunday afternoon at J.L. Johnson Stadium.

AJ Archambo drove in a game-high four RBIs, three of which came on his third home run of the season in the sixth. Denny homered for the third time in the last four contests and finished the day a perfect 3-for-3 at the dish to go along with three RBIs.

For the fourth straight game, Denny put the Golden Eagles on top in the first, 1-0, as the redshirt sophomore plated Jake McMurray on an RBI double to right-center.

Two batters later, Holden Breeze brought around Denny with an RBI double to center to extend the lead, 2-0. Archambo pushed the advantage to 3-0 with an infield RBI single that scored Justin Quinn. Following an error that advanced Archambo to second, Joshua Cox beat out an infield single to score Breeze. On the play, a throwing error by the Tommies allowed Archambo to score as well, stretching the lead to 5-0.

In the second, Denny launched a two-run shot to right to make it 7-0, ORU.

A bases-loaded walk by Jackson Loftin scored McMurray in the fourth to push the advantage to 8-0. In the next at-bat, Quinn grounded into a fielder's choice but a fielding error by St. Thomas allowed two more runs to cross the plate, stretching the lead to 10-0.

Breeze capped off the inning with a sacrifice fly as the Golden Eagles led 11-0 heading into the fifth.
