The redshirt junior then swiped second and advanced to third on a throwing error before coming around to score on a Jacob Godman RBI single to left, extending the lead to 5-0.

Behind a two-run triple to left-center, the Tommies cut the ORU advantage to 5-2 in the fourth.

In the eighth, the Golden Eagles tacked on three more runs to their lead to make the final 8-2. With runners on the corner, Blaze Brothers laid down a perfect squeeze bunt, which allowed Sam Thompson to score from third.
