MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Jakob Hall delivered six scoreless innings and the Oral Roberts baseball team picked up their fifth straight win with an 11-1 rout of Memphis in the series opener Friday afternoon from FedExPark Avron Fogelman Field.

Hall earned his third win of the season after tossing six scoreless frames to go along with six strikeouts. The quality start was Hall's fifth of the year and third straight. In relief, Evan Kowalski earned the save after tossing three innings of one-run baseball.

Blaze Brothers picked up where he left off Tuesday night as the senior went 3-for-5 at the dish with five RBI. The Lowell, Arkansas, native also crossed the plate twice on the afternoon. Shortstop Mac McCroskey joined Brothers with a three-hit day and also drove in a pair of runs.

In the first, McCroskey opened the scoring as the redshirt senior blasted a solo home run over the center field wall. The homer was McCroskey's fourth of the season and first since Opening Day.

After a pair of walks and a Justin Quinn single loaded the bases in the second, Brothers powered the fourth pitch he saw over the wall in left-center for a grand slam. The homer was the senior's second in as many games and sixth of the season as ORU took a 5-0 lead.

The Golden Eagle offense tacked on one more run in the frame as Jonah Cox brought around Jake McMurray on an RBI double to center.

In the sixth, ORU's lead grew to 8-0 behind an RBI single from McCroskey and an RBI fielder's choice from Jacob Godman. An inning later, the Golden Eagles plated three more runs to push their advantage to 11-0. Godman and Brothers each tallied an RBI in the frame.

The Tigers pushed across their first run of the afternoon in the eighth on an RBI groundout to make the final 11-1.
