TULSA, Okla. – Behind a strong performance on the bump from Jakob Hall, the Oral Roberts baseball team recorded its fifth straight win and improved to 10-0 in Summit League play as they run-ruled Northern Colorado, 10-0, Friday night from J.L. Johnson Stadium. The shutout marked the second of the season for the Golden Eagles.

Hall collected his fourth win of the year after throwing seven scoreless frames to go along with seven strikeouts. On the offensive end, Mac McCroskey led all players with four RBI after finishing 2-for-4 at the dish.

McCroskey got things rolling offensively for ORU in the first with a three-run homer down the left-field line. The long ball marked the ninth of the season for the redshirt senior and the fourth in his last four games.

The Golden Eagles tacked on three more runs to their lead, 6-0, in the third. Drew Stahl plated Matt Hogan, who reached on a double, with an RBI groundout for the first run of the frame. Holden Breeze followed with an RBI single that scored McCroskey, who reached on a single. The redshirt junior later came around to score the third run of the inning on a Blaze Brothers RBI single.

In the sixth, the Bears threatened as they loaded the bases with only one out but Hall responded with back-to-back strikeouts to end the frame.

A leadoff homer off the bat of Justin Quinn in the bottom half of the sixth pushed the ORU advantage to 7-0. The solo shot was Quinn's second homer of the season. Later in the frame, Jonah Cox, who reached on a hit-by-pitch, came around to score on a fielder's choice from McCroskey as the Golden Eagle lead stretched to 8-0.

After Matt Hogan scored the ninth run of the night on a wild pitch in the eighth, Breeze walked it off with an RBI single to center as ORU run-ruled Northern Colorado, 10-0.
