TULSA, Okla. – The Golden Eagles completed the season sweep over St. Thomas on Wednesday night at Case Soccer Complex.

The opening minutes of play saw both teams threaten to score with multiple VAR reviews preventing any penalties from being taken.

However in the dying minutes of the first half, the senior would come through for ORU as Jose Estrada masterfully navigated an outlet pass to Schinieder Mimy who delivered a cross to a diving Omar Mora for the score.

After another VAR was issued for a possible offside call on Mora, the review concluded with the goal standing and the Golden Eagles going into the break with the lead.

Later in the second half, ORU got much needed insurance for their lead as Luis Flores connected yet again on free kick nearly 40 yards out of the box to double the advantage for the home side.

The Tommies could simply not keep up with the Golden Eagles' attack being outshot by ORU 8-35 and the mismatch was further proven as Flores delivered a cross to Damani Harris to seal the deal in the 84th minute.

When the final whistle blew, the Golden Eagles came away with a crucial three points and a season sweep over St. Thomas
