TULSA, Okla. – The Oral Roberts baseball team clinched their first sweep of 2024 this afternoon against SIUE

Ryan Carmack would make his first Division-I start one to remember as he would toss five innings of one-run ball along with six strikeouts

Though SIUE would strike first with a homer in the top of second, ORU would even the score in the ensuing bottom half of the inning off a Ryan Blackwell groundout.

Holden Breeze would give his starter some insurance in the third as he forced a fielder's choice that would score Alex Rodgers.

After showcasing his plate discipline in the previous two games, Rodgers would take a more aggressive approach to the plate in game three. He would find great success as he drove in Sam Thompson off a double to left field en route to a multi-hit performance.

Later in the fifth, Kyle Booker would drive in another run off a fielder's choice as the outfielder continued a breakout performance in this series.

The Panthers would claw their way back within one run of the Golden Eagles, but dominant outings from Conner Floyd and Dalton Patten paired with RBI's from Rodgers, Breeze, and Elijah Rodriguez would help ORU cruise to a 8-3 win.
