NORMAN, Okla.– The Oral Roberts baseball team fell to the #25 Sooners in a standalone game on Tuesday night 10-0. This is the first time the Golden Eagles have been shut out since March 12, 2023 versus Dallas Baptist.
Oklahoma would get on the board with three runs in the bottom of the first and would continue to build that lead every other inning for the rest of the game. Meanwhile ORU struggled at the plate mustering on the two hits for the first time since their loss at Wichita St. on March 5, 2013.
The Sooners lead continued to swell as the game progressed and with a four-run seventh inning, the run-rule was put into effect and result in a win for the home team.
