Fargo, N.D.– The Oral Roberts baseball team split their doubleheader on Saturday afternoon at Newman Outdoor Field

Game 1:
In the opening game, ORU's offense would continue to put on a hitting clinic that started early this week at Wichita. Seven different Golden Eagles would register an RBI while Holden Breeze (2), Drew Stahl (2), and David Herring (2) all drove in multiple runs.
Meanwhile on the mound, Jakob Hall picked up his fifth straight quality start going seven innings while striking out four NDSU batters.
The Bison would make it a close game in the sixth, coming within one-run after a solo homer, but the Golden Eagles would score six unanswered runs across the last three frames to cruise to a 10-3 win.

Game 2:
Thirty minutes later, ORU was back in action and quickly went down a run to NDSU after an RBI single in the first.
However, ORU would respond, piling up three runs in the third off no hits and two runs in the fourth off RBIs from Alex Rodgers and Martell Davis.
NDSU would climb their way back into the game and eventually taking the lead back in the seventh off an RBI triple.
Though momentum quickly shifted back to ORU in the eighth after Elijah Rodriguez barreled up an RBI double to right-center to tie the game up.
Unfortunately the Bison were able to steal the win after poking a fly ball over the right field fence to even the series.
