TULSA, Okla.– The Oral Roberts baseball team took the series opener over the Bears Friday night at J.L. Johnson Stadium.

Jakob Hall would be on the bump for ORU, putting a streak of 55 days undefeated pitching on the line.

The right-hander once again delivered a stellar performance for the Golden Eagles, tossing seven innings of one-run ball while collecting seven strikeouts.

ORU's lineup provided plenty of run support for their ace, as Holden Breeze kickstarted the offense with a two-run homer in the fourth.

Northern Colorado was able to plate a run across in the ensuing inning of play, but the Golden Eagles poured on seven runs across the next four innings led by a four-RBI performance courtesy of Elijah Rodriguez.

After a shutout inning of relief from Colorado-native Jared Ure, ORU turned to Hudson Hart for the final frame and the sophomore racked up three strikeouts to give the home squad their 10th Summit League victory of the season.
