TULSA, Okla.– The Oral Roberts baseball team keep their momentum going after a huge midweek upset on Tuesday as they clinched another Summit League series win with a doubleheader sweep over Omaha

Game 1
Jakob Hall took the mound for the Golden Eagles and proved once again why he is one of the best aces in the league. The right-hander went six innings with four strikeouts and one earned run to give ORU's offense plenty of time to build a lead.

Head Coach Ryan Folmar's lineup would do just that as David Herring and Elijah Rodriguez drove in four runs in the fourth to take an early 4-1 lead.

After the Mavericks were able to muster a run in the sixth, the Golden Eagles poured on four more runs courtesy of Sam Thompson, Kyle Booker, and Rodriguez.

With a six run lead, ORU turned to Jared Ure to get the home squad quickly to Game 2 and the reliever would deliver closing out final three innings to pick up his third save of the season.

Game 2
After Game 1 took over three hours to complete, the Golden Eagles made quick work of the Mavericks in Game 2 run-ruling Omaha in just two hours and nineteen minutes of gameplay.

ORU opened the first two innings with six unanswered runs as their aggressive "small ball" approach caused four errors.

The Mavericks were able to get on the board in the fourth however any spark for a comeback was quickly extinguished as David Herring, Alex Rodgers, Drew Stahl, Booker, and Rodriguez put up six runs in the fifth, creating an insurmountable 12-1 lead.

Not to be overshadowed by`ORU offense, the pitching staff held another lineup under three hits for the second time this week.

Brooks Fowler cruised through Omaha's lineup, fanning seven in five innings of work. Meanwhile Hudson Hart and Trent Martin tossed two no-hit innings to secure the series win.

Inside the Box Score
-  The Golden Eagles would set a new season low allowing only two hits in Game Two.
- ORU would only walk 3 batters in 16 innings of play.
