TULSA, Okla.– The Oral Roberts baseball team completed their season sweep over Little Rock tonight in Tulsa.

The Trojans would take an early lead, connecting on two homers to go up 3-0 in the first two frames.

However, the Golden Eagles quickly closed the gap as Sam Thompson hit a two-run opposite field over the left field fence. Immediately after, Martell Davis stepped to the plate and demolished his second homer of the season against Little Rock to tie the game.

Both teams remained in a deadlock over the next three innings but in the sixth, Kyle Booker would take over the game with his speed.

After reaching on a base with a single, the right fielder caused chaos on the basepaths easily stealing second to get into scoring position. Then after getting a great jump, the senior forced an errant throw from Little Rock's catcher allowing Booker to score, and the Golden Eagles to take the lead.

Later in the eighth, he added insurance to the Oral Roberts lead with a sacrifice fly to give the bullpen a two-run cushion.

Despite the buffer, the ORU bullpen remained poised after taking over in the fourth inning. The six-man effort of Trent Martin, Hudson Hart, Keaton Ruthardt, Ryan Carmack, Jared Ure, and Conner Floyd combined for six innings of two-hit ball with eight strikeouts as the Golden Eagles held on for their 20th win of the year.
