#ORUWSOC Unveils 2024 Recruiting Class

TULSA, Okla. – The Oral Roberts women's soccer team and Head Coach Austin Risenhoover have announced the signing of seven new players to the 2024 roster.

The incoming class features five freshmen and two transfers.

Coach Risenhoover on the 2024 class - "I couldn't be more excited about this incoming class! This group is exactly what we're looking for in our 'Quest to be Champions.' They all come from very successful clubs, so they have the right kind of mindset that we need. From our transfers back in January to our incoming freshmen, each player fits into our culture and will help push us to accomplish the goals we've set for ourselves. I'm excited about both the present state and future of this program!"

2024 Recruiting Class Breakdown

#24 Grace Due | D | 5'9" | Freshman | Edmond, Okla. | Edmond North HS
From Edmond, Oklahoma, Due comes to the Golden Eagles after playing high school soccer at Edmond North. Due played soccer all four years at Edmond North and is a 3x All-District player. During her freshman year, Due and Edmond North were state runner up.

#21 Precious Edosa | MF | 5'10" | Freshman | Leeuwarden, Friesland, Netherlands | Ernest Renan
From Friesland, Netherlands, Edosa comes to the Golden Eagles after playing high school soccer at Ernest Renan in France. She scored seven goals and added four assists this past season. Edosa chose ORU because of the "family spirit of the school."

#25 Marlee Fort | MF | 5'4" | Freshman | Yukon, Okla. | Yukon HS
From Yukon, Oklahoma, Fort joins the Golden Eagles after completing her high school career at Yukon High School. Fort compiled numerous honors at Yukon HS, including 2x MVP, 2x All-District selection, and one-time All-Conference selection. Fort served as team captain for her high school team as well as her ECNL team.

#17 Marlee Fray | F | 5'5" | Graduate Student | Coconut Creek, Fl. | American Heritage | University of Central Florida | University of Texas at San Antonio
From Coconut Creek, Florida, Fray comes to the Golden Eagles after transferring from UTSA. A four-year member of the Roadrunners, Fray is a 3x C-USA Academic Honor Roll selection and was also named to the 2022 C-USA All-Tournament Team. During her time at UTSA, Fray scored seven goals and recorded five assists in 44 games played.

#19 Savy Spielman | D | 5'8" | Freshman | Temecula, Calif. | Great Oak HS
From Temecula, California, Spielman comes to the Golden Eagles after playing at Great Oak High School. Spielman was named the 2024 Southwestern League Defensive MVP, earned First Team All-Conference honors in 2024, and Second Team All-Conference honors in 2023. Spielman chose ORU because she loved the coaches, players, campus, and her experience at Chapel.

#14 Lela Stark | MF | 5'5" | Junior | Guelph, Ontario, Canada | Parry Sound HS | Appalachian State University
From Ontario, Canada, Stark joins the Golden Eagles after transferring from Appalachian State where she played the first two years of her collegiate career. While at App State, Stark appeared in 36 games and made eight starts. She recorded her first career assist on 8/24/2023 at UT Martin and scored her first goal on 9/3/2023 against FGCU. Stark finished last season with 12 shots and eight shots on goal.

#26 Alaina Trevino | MF | 4'11" | Freshman | Broken Arrow, Okla. | Union HS
From Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Trevino comes to the Golden Eagles after playing at Union High School. Trevino recorded 17 goals and 20 assists her freshman through junior year. She racked up numerous awards in high school, including 3x All-District, Union Freshman of the Year, and AD's Honor Roll.
