KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Oral Roberts men's basketball team fell, 90-67, at Kansas City in its first Summit League game of the 2024-25 season.

Kansas City opened the game on a 7-0 run before freshman
JoJo Moore got ORU on the board with a layup and the foul. The Roos responded with a 12-5 run over the next seven minutes, led by five points from Davontae Hall. With 1:56 left in the half,
Braeden Moore checked into the game and provided a spark for the Golden Eagles. He knocked down a quick three and followed it up with a layup at the basket on the following possession. Despite Moore's two quick baskets, Kansas City held a 37-21 lead at the break.

Jackson Skipper scored the first five points of the half for ORU, but Kansas City responded to each bucket and kept the Golden Eagles at bay. The Roos went on a 12-2 run between the under-16 and under-12 timeouts, increasing their lead to 21 points. KC would hold onto its lead for the remainder of the second half to earn a 90-67 win.
