GRAND FORKS, N.D. – The ORU volleyball team jumped out to an early lead over the Fighting Hawks before falling in four sets to close out their road trip.
The Golden Eagles grabbed the first set 26-24 thanks to a strong performance on the attacking end, registering a .364 attack percentage with 18 kills. The Golden Eagles rallied from down eight at 13-5 to grab the first set. In set two, ORU put together a .308 attack percentage with 12 kills in the 25-19 set loss. In set three, the Golden Eagles lost the first point and never clawed back into the lead before falling in the set 25-12. The Golden Eagles recorded a .409 attack percentage and 13 kills in set four before falling 25-17 in the set and match.

- Julia Carr had a team-high one ace in the loss.
- Hayden Hart recorded a career and team-high in kills, with 16.
- ORU got a match-high 12 digs from Julia Carr.
- Carr has recorded 10+ digs in nine of her last 10 matches.
- Golden Eagle attackers were helped by a career and team-high 36 assists from Sophie Johnson.
- Johnson has tallied 35+ assists in her last two matches.
