• The Golden Eagles fell in two matches last week to the Bison and Fighting Hawks on the road.
• Head coach Nolan Albrecht is in his first year as the head coach of the ORU volleyball program.
• Coach Albrecht added his sister Annika (Albrecht) Moulder and Katy Morrison to his staff as assistant coaches this summer.
• The Golden Eagles have welcomed nine newcomers this offseason, six of whom are freshmen.
• Julia Carr has led ORU in digs in 13 of 18 matches this season.
• Sophie Johnson has recorded 35+ assists in her last two matches.
• DS/L Julia Carr and MB Natassia Baptiste were named Summit League Preseason Players to Watch.

• ORU holds a 6-21 record against Omaha.
• The Golden Eagles haven't beaten the Mavericks since 2019, topping Omaha at the Mabee Center in five sets.
• Matt Buttermore is in his seventh season at the helm of the Mavericks. He holds a 108-78 record at Omaha and 286-131 career record.

• The Golden Eagles hold a 48-12 record over the Roos.
• ORU has beaten Kansas City just once in its last five meetings.
• Christi Posey is 219-200 over her 15 seasons as the head coach of the Roos.
