STILLWATER, OKLA. – Abraham Chelangam grabbed his second first-place finish of the season, outlasting the No. 2 cross country program in the country on Friday morning.

Chelangam outlasted 18 Oklahoma State Cowboys during Friday's race, a program that is ranked second nationally on USTFCCCA.org, with a time of 24:51.0. He opened the season with a win at the Bob Timmons Rim Rock Classic in Lawrence, Kansas.
Andrew Smithwick also placed in the top-10 with a time of 25:16.2, one of his best performances of the fall.
In the women's 6K, it was
Madeline Cabana leading the charge for the Golden Eagles, placing 11
th, running a 22:22.0. It is her first race in 2025, where she has led the team in individual performances.
Zoie Kiddy,
Lillian Woolery, and
Hannah Claytor all finished right beside each other, placing 23
rd, 24
th, and 25
th, respectively.
