COLUMBIA, MO. – The Golden Eagles' Abraham Chelangam wrapped up his redshirt-junior season at NCAA Nationals on Saturday morning.

Chelangam was one of the two runners to represent the Summit League at NCAA Nationals, and it was his second consecutive season competing.  The Kapchorwa, Uganda native finished 127^th out of 259 runners, posting a time of 29:47.2. 
 
In his third season with the program, Chelangam took home two individual first-place finishes at the Rim Rock Classic and Weis-Crockett Invitational, a top-15 Midwest Regional finish, and a second straight NCAA Nationals bid.  Additionally, he was selected to the Summit League 1st Team for his runner-up performance at the conference championship.
 
The ORU men's cross country program finished 14^th in the Midwest Region, one of their highest rankings in school history.
