TULSA, Okla. – The Golden Eagles reached the halfway mark of Summit League play, falling to the Kansas City Roos at the Mabee Center.
The Golden Eagles lost set one 25-20 despite a solid performance on the attacking side, registering a .400 attack percentage with 15 kills in the set loss. ORU dropped set two 25-14 after falling behind on the first point before dropping the set. The Golden Eagles couldn't prolong the match in set three, trailing by as many as eight points as UMKC grabbed the advantage for good at 10-9. The third set was knotted up nine times before the Roos took the lead and the match.

- Elyse Dube had a team-high one ace in the loss.
- Cortnee Smith had a match-high 13 kills for ORU, hitting .310 in the process.
- Suze Zijlstra tied her career-high in digs, with 10.
- ORU attackers were helped by a match-high 28 assists from Sophie Johnson.
