BROOKINGS, S.D. – The Golden Eagles kicked off a two-match road trip against the South Dakota State Jackrabbits, falling in three sets.
 
The Golden Eagles found themselves in an early deficit, trailing by as many as eight points as South Dakota State never surrendered the lead in a set that was tied up three times. ORU fell in the second set 25-15 after falling behind on the first point. The Golden Eagles could not secure set three and after losing the first point before falling in set three 25-22.
 
Game Notes
	- MacKenzie Murphy had a team-high one ace in the loss.
- Cortnee Smith had a match-high 14 kills for Oral Roberts.
- ORU got a match-high 15 digs from Julia Carr.
- Golden Eagle attackers were helped by a team-high 21 assists from Farah Helmy.
