TULSA, Okla. – The ORU volleyball program fell to the South Dakota State Jackrabbits in three sets on Saturday at Mabee Center.
The Golden Eagles found themselves in an early deficit, trailing by as many as 11 points as South Dakota State never gave up the lead in a set that was never tied up before the Jackrabbits took control. ORU dropped the first point and never clawed back before dropping the set. In set three, the Golden Eagles came up short after South Dakota State grabbed the advantage for good at 20-19 in a neck-and-neck set that was tied up 11 times.

- Murphy, Zijlstra and Johnson all had one ace in the loss.
- Hayden Hart recorded a team-high 10 kills for ORU.
- The Golden Eagles got a match-high 11 digs from Julia Carr.
- ORU attackers were helped by a team-high 21 assists from Farah Helmy.
