STILLWATER, OK – Senior guard Jalei Oglesby tallied a program season-best 24 points as the Oral Roberts women's basketball team fell to No. 22 Oklahoma State on Sunday evening.

Joining Oglesby in double-figure scoring was Anna Trusty, who added 14 points. The Golden Eagles recorded 28 rebounds on the night, led by Oglesby's five boards. Kayten Donley and A'Maya Holton combined for eight rebounds, grabbing four apiece.

The ORU offense struggled in the first period, shooting 4-of-19 from the floor, with Oglesby leading the way with four points.

The Golden Eagles improved in the second quarter, shooting 58.3 percent from the field and putting up 20 points to the Cowgirls' 27. Oglesby led all scorers in the period, shooting 5-of-7 and reaching double figures with 14 points. ORU saw its best scoring run of the night in the second, starting with a layup by Donley, followed by a layup and jumper from Oglesby.

ORU found success in the paint during the third quarter, scoring 14 of its 15 points near the basket. Freshman Preslee Hartsock led the team in scoring for the period, going 2-for-3 from the floor and 1-for-1 at the line.

The Golden Eagles got a boost from the bench in the final quarter, as non-starters accounted for five of their 19 total points. Trusty tallied eight points in the frame, shooting 3-of-4, including a step-back three-pointer with under five minutes remaining.
