TULSA, Okla. – The ORU men's basketball program couldn't keep up with UT Arlington to conclude the non-conference slate, falling 69-57 to the Mavericks at the Mabee Center.

Three players finished in double figures, led by Ty Harper, who had 18 points. Yuto Yamanouchi-Williams tacked on 10 points and two steals while Ofri Naveh finished with 10 points, eight rebounds and three steals.

After falling behind 11-6, Oral Roberts went on a 6-0 run with 14:10 left in the first half, beginning with a bucket from Cal Furnish, to take a 12-11 lead. The Golden Eagles surrendered their lead and entered halftime down 35-27. After the break, the Mavericks took a 50-35 lead before the Golden Eagles went on an 8-0 run to shrink the deficit to 50-43 with 9:36 to play. UT Arlington responded and outscored the Golden Eagles in the final nine minutes, as ORU knocked down just one of its nine field goals in the final three minutes.
