TULSA, Okla. – The Oral Roberts men's basketball team was outrebounded 45-28 by the Jackrabbits as SDSU claimed a 77-69 win over the Golden Eagles Thursday night in the Mabee Center.

The first half was a back-and-forth battle, with 14 lead changes and nine ties keeping the game tight. ORU took an early five-point lead, but South Dakota State responded, using a strong presence in the paint to edge ahead 31-29 by halftime. Despite shooting just 33.3% from the field, the Golden Eagles kept pace, with
Jalen Miller and
Sam Alajiki leading the scoring efforts with 11 points each.

In the second half, the Golden Eagles briefly reclaimed the lead, but the Jackrabbits' dominance on the boards and clutch scoring down the stretch proved decisive. ORU tied the game at 60-60 with under eight minutes left, but SDSU responded with a 7-0 run led by Oscar Cluff, who finished with 22 points and 12 rebounds. The Golden Eagles fought to stay in it, but SDSU controlled the paint and the clock to secure a 77-69 win.
