We are celebrating the 918 on Thursday at the Mabee Center with a FREE community event! Come meet our teams, interact with our players, watch basketball practice, and DANCE ON THE MABEE CENTER FLOOR!
Doors open at 5 p.m., followed by an open men's basketball practice at 5:30 p.m. Student-athletes from Golden Eagle track and field, volleyball, golf, baseball, women's basketball, tennis, soccer, and the spirit squads will host activities for fans throughout the evening. This event is FREE and open to the public!
918 Day is more than an event, it's an opportunity for ORU coaches and student-athletes to connect with the great City of Tulsa. ORU students represent all 50 states and more than 140 countries worldwide.
918 Day Rundown:
5 pm --> Doors open (North Lobby)- 5-6:30 pm --> Face Painting
- 5-7 pm --> Concourse Activities
Track: Talon Toss & Speed Sprint
Volleyball: Serve & Soar
Golf: The Putt Zone
Baseball: Speed Pitch
Women's Basketball: Pop a Shot
Tennis: Eagle Slam
Soccer: Eli's shoot out
Spirit: Pom Pom Path
- 5:30pm --> Men's Basketball Open Practice
- 7 pm --> Cupid Shuffle on the floor to close out the night
Attendees will have the chance to take photos with players, collect autographs on team posters, and join in an on-court "Cupid Shuffle" to close out the event.
