TULSA, OKLA. – The Oral Roberts Cross Country program has their sights set on Stillwater, Oklahoma, as they compete in the Cowboy jamboree on Friday morning.

The Oklahoma State hosted event welcomes the Golden Eagles back for a second straight season.  ORU placed sixth in the men's 8k race and seventh in the women's 6K race in 2024. 
 
The meet features 19 teams including Oklahoma State, Oklahoma, Oregon, Kentucky, TCU, and Tulsa among others. 
 
The ORU men come off a Rim Rock Classic win placing first as a team, having the top three individual finishers with Abraham Chelangam coming in first, Andrew Smithwick in second, and Artwell Magake in third. 
 
The women placed second at the Rim Rock Classic and possessed two top 10 finishers with Ossly Murambidzi in fourth and Madleine Cabana in fifth.
