TULSA, Okla. – Connor Dow's 23 points weren't enough to overtake the Summit League preseason favorite, St. Thomas Tommies, on Saturday night, as ORU was handed its third loss of conference play.

Dow added five rebounds to his 23-point game to lead the Golden Eagle offense.
Ofri Naveh tallied 16 points and six rebounds while
Luke Gray chipped in with eight points, two steals and two blocks.

After jumping out to a 14-11 advantage, ORU went on a 6-0 run with 15:01 left in the first half, culminating in a three from Dow, to increase its lead to 20-11. The Golden Eagles surrendered that lead and entered halftime down 43-40. Out of the break, St. Thomas kept widening its lead, constructing a 50-44 advantage before the Golden Eagles went on a 6-0 run, finished off by Dow's layup, to even the score at 50 with 14:10 to go. The Golden Eagles couldn't turn their rally into a victory, as the Tommies outscored them 32-21 the rest of the way.
