TULSA, Okla. – The ORU men's tennis team opened the spring season with a mix of thrilling victories and tough losses. After a hard-fought win over Saint Joseph's and a 4–1 loss at Florida Gulf Coast, the Golden Eagles fell 4–0 to Arkansas before bouncing back with a dominant 4–0 win over Saint Louis to close the opening week.

ORU earned its first win of the season against Saint Joseph's, capturing the doubles point and three key singles victories from Ricardo Filho, Rodrigo Guijarro, and Luis Marcos Bonifasi. The week continued with a narrow loss at Florida Gulf Coast, where Bonifasi picked up ORU's lone singles win. Arkansas handed ORU a 4–0 defeat, taking the doubles point and quickly closing out singles matches. The week finished on a high note as ORU swept Saint Louis, capturing wins in doubles at the top two positions and singles at Nos. 1, 3, and 5, with ABN matches not needed after the team clinched the match.
