TULSA, Okla. – The ORU men's basketball team got a 25-point performance from the bench but fell 79-62 to the North Dakota Fighting Hawks at the Mabee on Thursday.

The Golden Eagles had two players score in double figures, led by Luke Gray, who had 15 points, while Chase Martin tacked on 12 points and seven rebounds. Martin's 12 points doubled his career-high, while he tied his career-high in rebounds.

ORU struggled in the first half, falling behind 36-28 heading into halftime. North Dakota kept widening its lead after the break, sparking a 42-30 advantage before the Golden Eagles went on a 6-0 run, finished off by Jack Turner's layup, to shrink the deficit to 42-36 with 14:55 to go. UND responded and outscored the Golden Eagles the rest of the way, to pick up the 79-62 win.
