TULSA, Okla. – After taking the Bison to double overtime earlier this month, the Golden Eagles couldn't replicate their wire-to-wire performance in Fargo, falling 86-58 in their first Summit League rematch of the season.
The Bison came out swinging, shooting 18-30 (60.0%) from the field and 11-16 (68.75%) from distance in the first half, leaving ORU in a 50-26 hole heading into the break. North Dakota State kept widening its lead after halftime, constructing a 77-44 advantage before the Golden Eagles went on a 6-0 run, to shrink the deficit to 77-50 with 4:45 to play. ORU was outscored the rest of the way, falling to 5-17 on the season.
