GRAND FORKS, North Dakota – Five players reached double-figure scoring as the Oral Roberts women's basketball team defeated North Dakota 89-80 on Thursday evening. With the win, the Golden Eagles moved to 5-3 in Summit League play.

Gentry Baldwin led the way for ORU, recording a career-best 25 points while shooting 9-of-11 from the floor and 5-of-6 from beyond the arc. The junior guard did not miss a shot until the 3:30 mark of the fourth quarter. Jalei Oglesby followed with her seventh 20-point game of the season, tallying 21 points. Hannah Coons and Anna Trusty added 12 points apiece, while Bella Edwards chipped in a career-best 11 points.

The Golden Eagles shot 57.9 percent from three-point range, going 11-of-19 on the night. Baldwin's five triples paced the team, while Edwards knocked down three-of-four shots from deep.

ORU won the rebounding battle, 39-31, as Oglesby paced the Golden Eagles with eight boards. Oral Roberts also utilized strong ball movement, piling up 17 assists on 31 made field goals. Kayten Donley led the team with five assists.

Oral Roberts struggled out of the gate, falling behind 22-16 at the end of the first quarter.

UND continued to add to its lead, building a 31-23 advantage before Oral Roberts went on a 5-0 run, highlighted by a bucket from Oglesby, to narrow the deficit to 31-28. The Golden Eagles were unable to cut the margin any further and entered halftime trailing 35-32. Edwards led ORU in the second quarter, scoring eight points on two three-pointers and a jumper inside the arc.
 

North Dakota extended its lead to 37-32 with a layup to open the third quarter, but the Golden Eagles responded with a 20-1 run, including five three-pointers, to take a 52-38 lead heading into the media timeout. The Fighting Hawks chipped away at the deficit, but ORU still entered the fourth quarter with a 63-58 advantage. Baldwin paced the Golden Eagles in the period, going 6-of-6 from the floor and 3-of-3 from range for 15 points.
 

Oral Roberts maintained its lead before going on a 7-0 run, capped by a Baldwin three, to push the advantage to 70-60 with 8:41 remaining. North Dakota narrowed the margin late, but the Golden Eagles cruised to the 89-80 victory.
