FARGO, North Dakota – The Oral Roberts women's basketball team had four players reach double-figure scoring in a 93-72 loss at North Dakota State Saturday afternoon. The result moves the Golden Eagles to 5-4 in Summit League play.

Jalei Oglesby led the way for ORU with 14 points, followed by Anna Trusty with 12 points. Kayten Donley tacked on 11 points and seven rebounds, while Ari Gordon came off the bench for 10 points.

ORU struggled out of the gate, falling behind 25-10 at the end of the first quarter. The Golden Eagles continued to lose ground in the second quarter, facing a 48-26 halftime deficit.

The Bison continued to grow their lead after halftime, as the Golden Eagles faced a 73-50 disadvantage heading to the fourth quarter. ORU played well near the basket, scoring 20 of its 24 points in the paint. Two Golden Eagles– Oglesby and Trusty– reached double-digits in the third.

ORU narrowed its deficit in the fourth quarter, but could not get over the hump, falling 93-72. ORU got a boost from its bench in the period, with non-starters scoring eight of its 22 total points. Donley led the Golden Eagles in the second half, recording nine points and six rebounds.

Oral Roberts: Jalei Oglesby led the Golden Eagles with 14 points, while Kayten Donley had a team-best seven rebounds.

North Dakota State: Avery Koenen led the Bison with a double-double of 25 points and 13 rebounds.
