TULSA, OKLA. – The Golden Eagle Track & Field program will host five programs to kick off the 2026 outdoor season at OneOk Sports Complex this weekend.
The field includes the University of Tulsa, Oklahoma State, Missouri State, Rogers State, and Northwest Arkansas Community College. The two-day meet will begin Friday, March 27
th, in the afternoon with the pole vault competitions, before a full slate of running and field events takes center stage on Saturday, March 28th.
Saturday's action is set to begin at noon following the national anthem, with a rolling schedule of timed finals on the track. The meet will feature a wide range of events, including the 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, hurdles, relays, and distance races. Field events will also run throughout the day, highlighted by the long jump, triple jump, and high jump.
The Golden Eagles have two men's and women's athletes to watch in the Summit League prior to the outdoor season opening. Men's high jumper
Jordan Wenger, who grabbed silver in the men's high jump event at the indoor championships, joins distance runner
Abraham Chelangam, who won the gold medal in the indoor 5000m at the Summit League championships.
