TULSA, Oklahoma – The Oral Roberts baseball team fell short against No. 8 Oklahoma on Tuesday evening.
Will Edmunson led the Golden Eagles, going 2-for-4 on the night, while
Cooper Combs,
Keaton Campbell, and
Hudson Ellis each added a hit.
The Sooners opened the scoring with a three-run home run in the first inning and capped the scoring in the ninth on a sacrifice fly.
ORU starter
Brenden Asher (0-2) was charged with the loss, throwing 3.0 innings and allowing three runs.
Michael Catalano (2-2) earned the win after throwing 5.0 innings, allowing no runs on four hits with seven strikeouts.
