TULSA, Oklahoma – The Oral Roberts baseball team closed a four-game series against North Dakota State with an 11-3 loss Sunday.
 
Starter Jackson Farrell (1-2) was charged with the loss after 3.0 innings on the mound, allowing seven runs, all earned, on four hits while striking out four batters.
 
The Bison struck first with a two-run home run to left field. NDSU added five runs in the fourth inning behind a two-RBI single and a three-run home run to left.
 
Makani Tanaka put ORU on the board in the fifth, singling to left field to score Matthew Mainord, who had reached on a walk and advanced to second on a single by Will Edmunson.

 
NDSU added another home run in the eighth before scoring three runs in the ninth.
 
ORU capped the day with two runs in the ninth, as Edmunson drove in Mainord, who again drew a walk and advanced to second on an Ellis walk. Following a pitching change, Tanaka doubled to right-center to score Ellis.
 
NDSU starter Jonah Walker earned the win after 5.0 innings on the mound, striking out two, walking three, and allowing one run on five hits.
