SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Oral Roberts shortstop
Hudson Ellis and righthander
Easton Teel swept the latest Kwik Star Summit League Baseball weekly honors of the 2026 season, League officials announced Tuesday. Ellis earned the first weekly honor of his career while Teel racked up his fourth after the Golden Eagles improved to 9-0 in Summit play with their third straight sweep.
Ellis went 4-for-10 in the series against Northern Colorado and hit safely in all four games for the Golden Eagles last week. He went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and scored the game-winning run in ORU's 3-1 victory in the opener vs. the Bears.
The Round Rock, Texas native secured the sweep for ORU with a game-winning double in the seventh inning of the series finale. His third double of the season broke a 2-2 tie in a tight series that saw ORU outscore the Bears 9-5 over the three games.
Teel picked up his second weekly honor in the past three weeks after equaling his season-high with seven innings worked in the opener. He allowed just one earned run on four hits and struck out four to earn his second win of the season.
The Choctaw, Okla., native retired 10 Bears in order after they plated their lone run in the third. He faced the minimum over his final four frames and did not allow a hit during that stretch.
