SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Goalkeeper Cameron Parma claimed the first Summit League Men's Soccer weekly honor of the 2026 season, being named the Defensive Peak Performer of the Week Tuesday afternoon. Alongside him is Massachusetts midfielder Thomas Wadas, being awarded the offensive honor.

Parma made his collegiate debut in goal by recording a clean sheet in Oral Roberts' 2-0 season-opening victory over UC Riverside. The Dallas native stopped two shots to help the Golden Eagles secure the shutout before making six saves in a 1-1 draw against UIC.

Parma's biggest save came in the 87th minute when he denied a penalty kick to preserve the tie. The redshirt freshman finished the opening weekend with eight saves.

Wadas scored twice in the opening 12 minutes to help the Minutemen secure a 3-1 victory over No. 24 UConn on Sunday. The Ludlow, Mass., native opened the scoring just 45 seconds into the match with a left-footed strike from the upper-left corner of the box before adding his second goal in the 11th minute.

The sophomore finished the match with four points and one game-winning goal, ranking second among Summit League players in points through the opening week of the season.
