TULSA, Okla. – The Oral Roberts Men's Basketball program and Head Coach
Kory Barnett released their 2026-27 non-conference schedule Thursday afternoon.
The challenging 16-game slate features a mix of high-major road opponents and eight home games inside the Mabee Center against regional and in-state opposition.
"Our goal is to build a championship program, and that means embracing challenges instead of avoiding them," said Coach Barnett. "This non-conference schedule will test us in every way and force us to grow before Summit League play begins. We'll compete in some of the best environments in college basketball against outstanding programs, and those experiences will prepare our team for the games that matter most in March. I know our players are excited for the opportunity, and I think our fans should be too. This group is connected, hungry, and ready to represent Oral Roberts with toughness, passion, and pride every time we take the floor. We can't wait to see the ORU community pack the Mabee Center and be part of what we believe will be a special season."
The Golden Eagles will kick off Barnett's second season at the helm on Monday, Nov. 2, with a road contest at Central Arkansas before making their home debut on Saturday, Nov. 7, against Northwestern Oklahoma State.
ORU remains in Tulsa for one of the area's premier rivalries when the Golden Eagles travel across town to face Tulsa on Wednesday, Nov. 11. The Golden Eagles return home three days later to host Oklahoma City before traveling to Dallas for a matchup with SMU.
December presents one of the toughest stretches on the schedule as the Golden Eagles travel to Creighton on Dec. 1 and Arkansas on Dec. 5 before returning home to host Louisiana on Dec. 12. ORU will then make the short trip to Stillwater for a matchup against Oklahoma State on Dec. 16.
The Golden Eagles wrap up December with consecutive home games against Central Arkansas on Dec. 19 and Central Baptist on Dec. 22 before heading back to DFW to play TCU on Dec. 29.
ORU concludes its non-conference slate on Saturday, Jan. 2, when Oklahoma Panhandle State visits the Mabee Center prior to the start of Summit League competition.
