CEDAR CITY, Utah-
Whitney Booth scored the game's only goal in
leading Oral Roberts to a 1-0 Summit League win over Southern Utah,
Saturday at SUU Soccer Field in the regular-season finale for both
teams.
The win improves ORU's record to 8-9-0 overall and 5-4-0 in Summit
League play, ORU's first winning conference record since 2004.
Southern Utah ends its season at 3-14-2 and 1-7-1.
Booth's goal came in the 31st minute and was unassisted.
The Golden Eagles were out-shot, 18-14. ORU keeper
Amanda Wheeler
made seven saves, while her counterpart Charly Booth stopped seven
shots for the Thunderbirds.
