Tulsa-An ACL tear that occurred midway through the second half of the Oral Roberts women's basketball contest against Tulsa this past Tuesday, has sidelined Cristal Turner for the remainder of the season.

The 6'2" junior forward from Maidstone, England had competed in the first three games for the Golden Eagles and was averaging 2.3 points, 1.3 rebounds and seven minutes per game.

"Losing Crystal for the year will be a big hit to our team," noted head coach Jerry Finkbeiner. "Crystal is a multidimensional player who filled a variety of roles for us on the floor. Her talents will be missed in our lineup, but we look forward to having her back to full speed in the spring."
