Hall picked up her first three points of the season with a goal
and an assist as the Oral Roberts women's soccer team walked away
from Mississippi Valley State with a victory on Sunday, 4-0.
The victory improves the Golden Eagle record to 4-3-2, the first
time this season the squad has been above the .500 mark. It is the
first time since the end of the 2010 season the Golden Eagles have
had more wins than losses on their season record.
Hall's assist came just two and a half minutes into the match
with the Delta Devils as she crossed the into the box, setting up
the opening goal off the foot of Lexie
Salas. It was also Salas' first goal of the season.
The Golden Eagles dominated the ball through most of the 90
minutes of play, with the offense rattling off a total of 24 shots,
11 in first half, while the defense only allowed a total of five
shots.

Keller on a great cross, who finished by putting the ball at
the back post to give the Golden Eagles a 2-0 lead.
Keller now leads the Golden Eagles with three goals on the
season, while Giles is tied with Ashley
Martin for the team lead in assists with three.
Hall added her goal in the 64th minute of action when
she completed a Whitney
Booth corner kick by putting a header in the net. About 20
minutes later, Mary-Kate
Halsmer set up the final goal of the afternoon as she found Kayla
Nsien at the top of the box who finished off the play.
The Golden Eagles had one of their best offensive games of the
season as they finished as 13 of their 24 shots were on goal. Jennifer
Abernathy led the way in the shots on goal column with four,
followed by Keller with three.
Between the posts, Helen
Erb continues to have a solid season, recording her fourth
shutout as she picked up three saves on the Delta Devils, improving
her record to 3-3-2. She is among the top keepers in the Southland
Conference in saves with 46.
The ladies take the pitch again next Friday as they play the
first of a pair of matches in Omaha. They start the weekend against
Nebraska-Omaha at 7 p.m. on Friday, closing the weekend against a
very good Creighton team at 1 p.m. on Sunday.
