VERMILLION, S.D. – The Oral Roberts track and field team claimed four event titles Saturday closing the 2021 Summit League Outdoor Track and Field Championships presented by U.S. Air Force Special Warfare from Lillibridge Track Complex.

Sasha Wells posted wins in the 100 meter dash and 100 meter hurdles after anchoring the 4x100 relay to a championship, while Joshua Tabla won the triple jump for the Golden Eagles.

The men finished fourth as a team with 74 points and the women were fifth behind 85 points. North Dakota State claimed both men's and women's team titles.

News and Notes
-Behind 28.5 points, Wells was named Summit League Track Championship MVP.

-Aaron Charlton led the Golden Eagles men with three, third-place finishes, including the second leg of the 4x100 relay.

-Gabrielle Gibson joined Wells in turning in four efforts inside the top four for the ORU women totaling 21.5 team points.
