COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The Oral Roberts track and field team closed the books on the outdoor season as Sasha Wells and Gabrielle Gibson raced in the 100 meter hurdles at the 2021 NCAA West Preliminary Saturday at E.B. Cushing Stadium.

Wells caps her collegiate career with the Golden Eagles after running 13.45 in the opening heat finishing 18th overall in the quarterfinals. She was as an 11-time Summit League event champion during her time at ORU.

Gibson has been right on the heels of Wells all season and posted a time of 13.56 to also place in the top 20 of the region.

-The top 12 times of the 24 competitors advanced to the NCAA Championships in Eugene, Oregon, where they will compete in the semifinals.
