SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – For the second consecutive week, Oral Roberts first baseman Jake McMurray has been named the TicketSmarter Summit League Peak Performer of the Week, as announced by League officials on Monday. 

McMurray extended his season-long hitting streak to nine games by hitting safely in each of ORU's four victories last week. He opened the week by belting a three-run, go-ahead homer in the seventh inning of a 9-7 win over a nationally ranked Oklahoma State squad.

The Tulsa native then went 5-for-13 with five runs and three more RBI in a series sweep of St. Thomas that gave ORU the program's 20^th regular season Summit League baseball title.
 
After going 2-for-5 in the opener with a run scored, he added two more run-scoring hits in game two. McMurray broke a 1-1 tie with a two-run homer in the fifth, then added a RBI-single in the sixth as ORU went on to win 11-2.

In the finale, the Golden Eagles' leadoff man reached base five consecutive times, drawing three walks, singling and being hit by a pitch. He scored the opening and closing runs in an 8-1 victory for ORU that improved its record to 20-1 in League play.
