TULSA, Okla. – Winners of 3 in a row, the Oral Roberts baseball team faces off in a midweek matchup against the Wichita State Shockers as the Golden Eagles close out their first homestand of the season.

Inside the Series
• Wednesday's game marks the 77th meeting all-time between the two clubs.

• The Golden Eagles have beat the Shockers in four of their last five matchups, most recently beating Wichita state 4-1 back on May 9, 2023.

• Last season ORU swept the Shockers in the three games played between the two programs, outscoring Wichita State 15-8.

Scouting the Opponent
• The Leathernecks enter Tulsa with a 3-3 mark after closing out the Jax College Baseball Classic with a 12-6 win over #18 Iowa.

• Keep an eye out for Dayvin Johnson, the outfielder batted .500 against two top-25 teams, driving in four runs, and being named to the Jax CBC All-Tournament Team.

• The projected starter for the Shockers is Caden Favors (3.65 ERA), but Wichita State could opt to turn to their bullpen as they have a three-game series against Utah Tech this Friday.
